العَقَبَةَ : مشقة الآخرة؛ بإنفاق المال والعمل الصالح.
فكُّ رَقَبَةٍ : إعتاقها من الرِّق.
مَسْغَبَةٍ : مجاعة شديدة.

عن أسامة بن زيد أن النبي ﷺ كان يضع الحسن والحسين على فخذيه ثم يضمهما ثم يقول : اللهم ارحمهما فإني أرحمهما.
